Bhutan plants 1,08,000 trees

Citizens of Bhutan took environmental friendly step by planting 1,08,000 trees across Bhutan. 

On February 5, 2016, King Keshar and Queen Pema announced birth of their first and that triggered of planting trees across the tiny country. Each one of 1,08,000 trees were planted sealed with sincere prayers for new born prince.

In Buddhism, trees are considered as symbol of longevity, health, beauty and compassion.
